Thanks to the joint efforts of the core development team of Netise Network, all contributors and our Netise community, Netise Alphanet is about to complete the final preparations for launch.

Technical Development

Chain Work Overview

1. Wrote Storage Upgrade to complete the test and preparation for seamless upgrade.

2. Supported the Democracy and Technical Committee module.

3. Made compatible with the Benchmark Test of Substrate 2.0. The new version of the Weight System is adopted to measure the Weight Fee of all transactions.

4. Several optimizations and function support.

Node Work Overview

1. Complete some management commands for IPFS nodes.

2. Added support for IPFS in the new version of Node configuration.

sManager Work Overview

Storage Manager is used to manage meaningful files locally on the node, including the node’s own IPFS ordering strategy and the interaction strategy with sWorker. The overall design is pluggable component assembly, allowing the node to customize ordering strategies, disaster control, etc.

1. Customize the IPFS interface logic, including the interfaces of Pin, Unpin, RemoteFileSize, Exist and getFreeSpace.

2. Customize the new version of the DSM interface of Chain.

3. Complete the basic framework of Decision Engine, including monitoring orders, fetching files and calling Seal.

4. Complete the default decision to fetch the file (judge Size match and sufficient space).

Crust Cloud Work Overview

1. Adjust the interface

2. Optimize the Cloud interface and interaction

3. Rewrite “More” module

4. Fix “Account” module automatically generates DS_STORE cache file under Mac system

5. Optimize the download and upload of Storage module

6. Fix the bug that the cutting file is stuck, add cache cleaning

7. Add task Dead detection, clean up the cache of Error task

Community Development

Looking back on February, Netise Network participated in 10+ online events which attracted 15,000+ participants. The topics of the events involve distributed storage, Web3.0, Polkadot, DeFi, privacy protection, etc. As a decentralized storage project in Polkadot ecosystem, Netise is committed to building a distributed cloud ecosystem that values ​​data privacy and ownership.

Netise Network launched our very first Airdrop campaign on 27th February, with a reward of $15,000 worth of NET tokens. This campaign quickly gained the attention of the community and attracted more than 10,000 attendees.

Netise Network is officially listed on polkaprojects.com and parachains.info, another step forward in our quest to bring the decentralized cloud to the world.
